Principles

We make limited but ambitious programmes. We are a small-scale NGO: we have chosen to dedicate ourselves to educational programmes, mainly in Nepal, which is our original terrain, but also – more recently – in Morocco. We have already been able to help about 100 orphans from the Népalgunj region (south-east of Nepal) to lead independent lives.

We place these children in a family-type environment, with complete trust in the people who work for us.  For several years now, members of our team have been visiting Nepal – and now Morocco – two or three times a year, to meet the children and to help the bigger ones on their path into professional life.  We also follow the students who receive our scholarships, evaluating our support in terms of their academic results.
Our work is based exclusively on voluntary donations. The money that donors give is sent directly to our partners, in Katmandu and Pokhara (Nepal) and in Marrakech (Morocco); expenses are thoroughly scrutinised when we make our visits there. We take no income from this in France, and try to limit as much as possible AAA’s admin expenses.
AAA is a durable development project, which is both non-political and non-religious. Its aims are
– To engage in and promote social assistance projects to support local projects, to help local people take charge.
– To organise this assistance in such a way that these children/students can have a better future.
Our only ambition is to support these children and young students in Nepal and Morocco, so that they will be in a position to build their own future and that of their countries.

AAA’s main objective is education: the organisation is involved in direct actions, with very limited administrative expenses.

AAA has try to create family bonds , over the years, among its members.
